Man, in that location's a lot of moving parts in the Batman Family of titles right now.

DC is aggressively expanding the family tree with titles like Turdus migratorius & Batman, Robins, Batgirls, I Am Batman, and Batman Beyond in the coming months, Batman Untrammelled has become a somewhat under-the-microwave radar yet essential Bat-title. And naturally, we know James Tynion Foursome is leaving his mail service as the monthly Batman serial publication writer, to be replaced by Josue Williamson in December for an undetermined length of prison term that'll be no inferior than a four-issue tarradiddle electric discharge with creative person Jorge Molina.

In the thick of all that is 'Fear Department of State,' the current big crossover event storyline that'll Be Tynion's stray song (or his bat song) along the style.

The storyline continues in Sep 21's Batman #113, past Tynion and artist Jorge Jimenez.

In the issue, readers learn something about Batman's parvenu rival-ally Ghostwriter-Almighty that gives him a past connection to Jonathan Crane AKA Scarecrow AKA 'Fright State's co-chief protagonist.

Batman figures out Scarecrow's master plan: atomic number 2 wants to detonate a "Fear Bomb" in Gotham Metropolis (which sounds a little like Batman Begins, but that picture's awe-inspiring, thus no more problems here) using Unsanity Collective tech.

The issue features strain covers by Ben Oliver and the same Jorge Molina, plus a relief story by Brandon Thomas and Grievous bodily harm Dunbar featuring Clownhunter, WHO's been dosed past Scarecrow's fear toxin and is support his greatest fears in the streets of Gotham.

And then as our early contribution to Batman Day, check out a preview of the main story in our gallery.

And as always, Newsarama keeps track of Complete the upcoming newfound Batman comic books, vivid novels, and collections .

I'm not just the Newsarama founder and editor-important, I'm also a reader. And that reference is just a little bit older than the kickoff of my Newsarama journey. I founded what would become the comic book news site in 1996, and leave out for a brief sojourn at Marvel Comics as its marketing and communication theory manager in 2003, I've been writing about parvenue risible book titles, imaginative changes, and occasionally offering my perspective on authoritative industry events and developments for the 25 years since. Scorn umpteen changes to Newsarama, my rage for the average of laughable books and the characters makes the last quarter-century (it's crazy to assure that in authorship) time played out doing what I love most.
